We are open from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We are closed Public Holidays and for two weeks over the Christmas/New Year Period.
We ask that you call us and let us know as soon as you can if you are running late for pick up.
A fee of $15 per 15 minute block that you are late may be applied.
Yes. You will need to provide proof of immunisation and ongoing immunisations throughout your child’s time at Lizzards unless they have a medical contradiction.
We will work with you to accommodate your child’s needs.

To ensure the safety of all children, staff, parents and visitors, appropriately located video monitoring system are in place at Lizzards.
If your child is sick and you need to keep them home, you can advise us via the Owna App, or a phone call. Should the condition be contagious, we would appreciate knowing so that we can monitor other children and warn families of a potential virus or bug.
Public holidays are charged at the normal day rate.
The Childcare Subsidy (CCS) is a payment offered by the Australian Government for which you may be eligible. To find out if you are eligible for CSS please visit the Department of Human Services. Depending on your personal circumstances, other government funding may be available to you.
Although hats are available, we suggest that all children bring their own hat (Well labelled).
As play often moves in and outdoors, and we believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing choices, we suggest that you layer your children’s clothing appropriately so that layers may be added or removed depending on the weather, season and conditions.
All children must wear enclosed shoes for their safety and for access to Bush Kinder outings.
All our nutritional and delicious menus are Munch & Move approved. Munch & Move is a NSW state-wide healthy eating and active play program.
Every day we provide breakfast, morning tea, a hot meal for lunch, afternoon tea and late snack for our little people.
We cater for dietary requirements including gluten free meals, dairy and egg free meals, as well as cultural require-ments.
Allergies and specific special dietary concerns are taken seriously, and we manage them with your assistance and support.
Sunscreen is readily available for all children and staff at Lizzards. Should your child have a particular skin allergy or require a special sunscreen, you should discuss this with the educators.
Enquiries can be made at EMAIL. After your enquiry is received you will be sent an enrolment form. You will then be placed on our waiting list and contacted when a position becomes available.
We recommend that you considering request an enrolment as soon as you can. Although our waiting list varies from month to month and year to year, your early preparation will help avoid excessive delays or disappointment.
Pease advise us if your child cannot be featured in videos or photos that we may use for sharing with our Lizzards community, our website or social media page/s and we will make all of our educators and any visiting photographers or videographers aware.
Separation anxiety is not uncommon, and we will work with your whole family to help your child adjust to the new and exciting adventures that await them at Lizzards. Our approach to separation anxiety is tailored to every different child depending on their age, circumstances, and the level of anxiety. We have a number of caring and supportive tactics that we undertake including hearts on hands, the ability to bring a comfort item from home and as needed, and calls to parents/guardians as well.
Parents can call anytime to check on their anxious child’s progress. That is if we have not contacted you first to let you know how they are going.
